Suva rugby forward, Dale Tonawai is confident his team can bring the BSP Farebrother Sullivan Cup to the capital when the dust settles at Lawaqa Park on Saturday night.
Suva travel to Sigatoka this weekend to challenge Nadroga for the coveted silverware.
Tonawai and the City boys are being driven by last week’s challenge results, when Northland threatened Nadroga’s hold of the Farebrother Cup.
“The game last week showed a lot of cracks in Nadroga's play. We’ve picked out their areas of weakness and hope to use it against them when we meet.”
The Army man knows it will not be an easy task playing the Stallions who will definitely bounce back from last week’s technical win.
“They have their pride to defend. Northland if anything embarrassed their defence of the Farebrother Cup. I believe this week they won’t want a repeat of what happened last week and will go for more than just a technical win,” Tonawai said.
Suva coach, Bill Gadolo has yet to name his skipper but Tonawai is in the list of possible skippers.
“We know our chances of winning is high but we cannot take anything away from Nadroga. They are a force to reckon with especially now when they are wounded,” Tonawai added
“We just need to maintain possession and grab every opportunity offered.”
