Their cause not helped by the sin-binning of Todd Clever. Pool B, United States 10-7 France: France scored first though Rida Jaouher but the United States hit back with tries to Chris Wyles and Kevin Swiryn to lead at the break.Samoa 35-5 Ireland Pool D, Samoa 35-Ireland 5: Samoa stamped their class on this match with three tries to Rupena Levasa proving to strong for Jon Skurr's men of Ireland.
