Defending champions Ba and neighbours Lautoka spice up the 2008 Courts Homecentres IDC at Govind Park after the fixtures to the five-day annual meet was released by Fiji Football Association yesterday.

Four exciting matches will be played in the Super Premier division on Thursday, October 9 with the highlight of the day being the clash between defending champions Ba and Lautoka.

Last year’s runners up Nadi will open the tournament with its clash against neighbors Nadroga while Tavua and Nasinu will battle it out in the second match.

The third match of the first day is also expected to produce a lot of fireworks as Suva and Labasa will clash again in a tournament after their tension full match during the BOG in Suva earlier this season.

Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Bob Kumar said the fixtures have been drawn fairly and were approved by the parent body’s Board of Control before being finalized and released to the public.

According to Kumar the Premier/Senior pool matches will end on Friday with the semifinals set for Saturday and the final on Sunday.

The Super Premier fixtures are as follows:

October 9 - 4.30pm, official opening, 5, Nadi-Nadroga (P1), 6.15, Nasinu-Tavua (P2), 7.30, Suva-Labasa (P1), 8.45, Ba-Lautoka (P2).

October 10 - 9.30am, Rewa-Nadroga (P1), 10.45, Nasinu-Navua (P2), 12pm, Tavua- Lautoka (P2), 2.30,Suva-Nadroga(P1), 4,Labasa-Nadi(P1),5.30,Lautoka-Nasinu(P2),6.45,Rewa-Suva(P1),8, Navua-Ba (P2)

October 11 - 9.45am, Navua-Tavua (P2), 11, Ba-Nasinu (P2), 12.15pm, Nadi -Rewa (P1), 1.30, Nadroga-Labasa (P1), 4, Tavua-Ba (P2), 5.30, Nadi-Suva (P1), 6.45, Rewa-Labasa (P1), 8, Lautoka-Navua (P2).

October 12 - 8.30am, Winner pool one-Runner-up pool two, 10, Winner pool two- Runner-up pool one. 4pm-Grand Final.
