Sabeto Roosters believe they have what it takes to book their first final spot when they take on Nabua Broncos in the Vodafone Fiji National Rugby League club semi- final this weekend.
The Roosters toppled defending champions Nadera Panthers off the top four competition when they defeated them 8-4 during the week.
“Beating the Panthers was the high note of our season,” Roosters manager, Sailasa Natalawaqa said.
“That win has given us so much confidence; we know we can reach the final.”
Facing Broncos will not be an easy task for the Roosters. Experience is on the Broncos side as they have been in more finals then the Sigatoka Electric sponsored side.
“Odds are against us, they know what its like to be in the top four and the final two but that has not discouraged us.”
“We have every right to be here and know we have what it takes to make it into the final.”
“We carry some niggling injuries to our players and we have less recovery time unlike our opponents but we’re on a roll and this year is ours to make history.”
In the other semi final, Saru Dragons will take on the Namatakula Saints. The semi finals kicks off at the Suva Grammar School grounds on Saturday.
