FRU promotes Flying Fijians RWC jersey September 02, 2010
Fiji’s preparations for the 2011 Rugby World Cup are now well underway, and among the first things to have been ticked off is the new KooGa jersey.
While the jersey design is a traditional with various Fijian cultural elements represented, what is most interesting is that the jersey is carbon based.
Tyron Brant, the managing director of KooGa, believes the flying Fijians jersey once it is manufactured in time for the 2011 Rugby World Cup will be the most advanced jersey in the world.
The carbon element within the jersey will provide it with a number of interesting features including temperature control, helps in players breathing, prevents cramps and is good for the heart. It also can be worn on several occasions.
