Nasinu plans to end Blues unbeaten run March 11, 2010
Nasinu is confident of ending Lautoka’s unbeaten National League record when the two sides face off in their National League Series fixture at the TFL Stadium on Sunday.
Boosted with a new coach, former national rep Ravuama Madigi Nasinu believes they have what it takes to bring Lautoka down.
“Madigi brings with him a lot of experience and expertise of the sport. He has been involved with a lot of district teams in Fiji so he has a fair ides of the players that we will be up against,” Ritesh Pal, Nasinu Football secretary said.
“We are really happy to have him with us. Being a former national rep too brings a lot of advantages that will take the Nasinu team to greater heights this season.”
Madigi joined the squad at training yesterday and has demanded one thing from the players, commitment.
“If they stay committed to the Nasinu pride, turning up to training, listening during training and committed to the constructive criticism thrown at them during training then I have nothing to worry about,” Madigi said.
Madigi said he was banking on fatigue to hit the Lautoka side this week with two games scheduled for the Blues.
Lautoka is expected to meet Tavua tonight and Nasinu on Sunday.
“I am hoping their game today against Tavua will tire them. That will at least give us an advantage on Sunday.”
The Lautoka versus Nasinu match is scheduled for Sunday at TFL Stadium at 4pm.
