Vakacegu to face RFU disciplinary panel

Former Suva rep, Marika Vakacegu has been summoned to appear before a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel next Tuesday.

Vakacegu who now plies his trade for the Sale Sharks has been cited for allegedly making contact with the eyes or eye area of Northampton’s Joe Ansbro last week, an international website reported.

He has been charged with an act contrary to good sportsmanship, following a report from the independent citing officer, Mike Rafter.
