Former Fiji netball coach Melissa Walker has vowed to get back all that’s she’s owed from the Fiji Netball Federation.
The New Zealander is expected to fly back home soon but at her own expense despite NF promising to pay for her airfare.
“As part of my contract with Netball Fiji in November 2009, they agreed to pay for me and my families return Air Pacific fares back to New Zealand but I have had to pay that off my own pockets because they did not fulfil their side of the deal,” she said.
NF had written to Walker stating they could not pay for her air tickets as earlier promised.
“This is yet another of the many wrongs they have done to me and my family, they cannot be trusted.”
“I am coming back on February 15 2011 and I will ensure to get all that is owed to me from Netball Fiji,” a confident Walker added.
She is expected to take up post as the new Wales coach soon.
