Bai, Nalaga still in camp: Brewer
November 19, 2009

Flying Fijians skipper Seremaia Bai is still with the team despite reports saying that his French club Clermont has called for his services, confirmed technical adviser Mike Brewer.

Bai and fellow team mate Napolioni Nalaga were reported to be making their way back to France for club duties but Brewer said this report is false.

“Bai and Nalaga are both still in camp, they are both still training with the team and they are both preparing for our second tour match against Ireland,” Brewer said.

Brewer admitted Clermont was requesting for the duos services back but that matter was up for discussion.

“We will confirm that tonight. Right now, we want to know where we stand because according to IRB rules, national duties are heavier than club commitments.”

Fiji coach Glen Ella is also expected to name his team to face Ireland tonight.

“There are a few minor changes,” communications officer, Vilikesa Rauca said.
The Fiji versus Ireland game kicks off at 5:15am Sunday morning.
