Rauluni, Bai to share captaincy role November 09, 2009
Saracens halfback Mosese Rauluni is reported to be the Flying Fijians captain for their three test matches against Scotland, Ireland and Romania.
In an interview with a Scottish newspaper, Rauluni said that he will share the captaincy role with Clermont player Seremaia Bai.
“Well, I have heard that I am to be joint captain of the touring party along with Seremaia Bai from Clermont,” he told scotlandonsunday.scotsman.com
Rauluni went on to talk about Fiji’s chances in the Northern hemisphere tour, saying it would be a stronger team had they spent a month together in camp.
"Everyone talks about Fiji moving to the next level but we won't be a force until we get together more often. Imagine if we were together for a good month before this tour!"
"Still, there is no point complaining about it," Rauluni continues. "We've just got to get on with it."
The 34-year-old from Gau made his debut for Fiji on November 1, 1996 against the New Zealand Maori.
