According to FUTSAL executive Jainendra Sukhu the district officials had requested them to release the players so they could feature in the weekend.

“The districts want their players for the National League and we decided to release the players after talking to them as most of them are contracted with the district teams.

“The second round of the NEWWORLD National League is also important as there is automatic relegation therefore all teams want to field their best players in the matches.”

“Players are expected to join camp on Monday and undergo training under coach Imtiaz Khan.”

“National players will also feature in the Sun/Sharmas insurance FUTSAL competition next Monday and Thursday to better their combination” he added.
