Women to bolster Bodybuilding meet
April 24, 2009

Fiji Bodybuilding Federation media liaison officer Ratu Inoke Tikotikoca has high expectations to the turn of female competitors in the Kimberly Blow Up Bodybuilding championship at the Charmans All Races Gym in Suva tomorrow.

Ratu Inoke said that competition will see the best men and women bodybuilders flex their muscles in their opening event this season.

“We’re looking at promoting the sport this season so we invite all to be part of the day,” Tikotikoca said.

“We’re looking at getting a big turn out and also in having female participants. This championship is known as the Kimberly Blow Up and there will be no admission for those who are interested to come and watch the best of our bodybuilders.”

Tikotikoca also thanked former Mr Fiji Mohammed Buksh for his help in sponsoring the tournament. He said that they were glad that Buksh has come out to financially assist the association.

The Kimberly Blow Up will be held at the Charman All Races Gym at Kimberly Street in Suva. The competition kicks off at 10am.
