Indiscipline mars Nadro-Nadi opener

Five yellow cards were issued in the opening game of the 2008 Inter-District Championships where Nadroga held Nadi to a scoreless draw at Ba's Govind Park this afternoon.

Referee Ravitesh Behari flashed five cards in the opening match of the tournament as both sides fought to a scoreless draw.

The tense match up saw both sides shape up to some exciting play as Nadroga, with the services of former Fiji captain Esala Masi and former Nadi and Fiji defender Ratu Veresa Toma marshaled the young side against the experienced Nadi side.

Nadroga faces Suva in its second pool game tomorrow while Nadi faces Labasa later in the day.

I am disapponted with Nadi, Well it does not look like that nadi will make any impact during this IDC, but never know any thing can happen in 60 minute game.
