| Villegas bids for PGA win September 08, 2008 Colombia's Camilo Villegas fired two birdies Sunday morning while completing his final five holes to grab a one-stroke lead on Jim Furyk after the third round of the BMW Championship. The South American star, seeking his first US PGA triumph as well as a wire-to-wire win at the seven million-dollar tournament, finished off a third-round four under par 66 to stand on 13-under 197 after 54 holes. US Ryder Cup veteran Furyk, who finished a third-round 66 on Saturday, was next with South African Tim Clark and Americans Brian Gay and Anthony Kim sharing third but four strokes off the pace on 201. Darkness fell on a busy Saturday with 23 players still on the course after organizers rammed 36 holes onto the schedule but were foiled by an early 90-minute fog delay, forcing the leaders back onto the course Sunday morning. Rain washed out play Thursday, prompting officials to push 36 holes onto Saturday's programme in a bid to finish the event on time and at full length. Furyk matched a course record by firing a 62 Saturday morning, then followed with a 66 in the afternoon. AFP
