The Ba soccer side will enter Govind Park this afternoon with only one aim.
That is to record an impressive win over Suva and take the lead in the New World Super 6 points table.
The Vodafone-sponsored ‘Men in Black’ trails defending champions Vodafone Labasa by a single point on the ladder.
A win over Suva will give them the lead and place them on a better chance of winning the title.
Ba coach Yogendra Dutt said his team would be out to win in front of its home crowd.
“We will be gunning for nothing less than a win against Suva and will go attacking from the first whistle, said Dutt.
“Ba will also be out to take revenge the 2-4 loss against Suva last year. Suva is a good team and we will not underestimate them because they have already beaten us twice this season.”
“We will feature young and experienced players to test our combination because we have the IDC and O League fast approaching.”
The return of Fiji U23 midfielder Shamil Rao will give Dutt more options in his star-studded midfield which has the likes of Pita Bolaitoga, Ronald Lawrence, Malakai Tiwa, Roneel Kumar and Joshua Wilson.
Rao missed the recent Battle of the Giants tournament in Suva because he failed to get his ITC on time after been released by Ba to feature in a US club.
Suva which has not won a single match in the series to date is expected to struggle in the clash as they badly need motivation from the bench.
The suspension of their coach Allen Jesoni has made life difficult for the team from the Capital City.
Experienced players like Inosi Cava, Akariva Dau, Seimata Chillia and Esava Naqeleca will lead the Whites against Ba.
The match kicks off at 2pm today.
