Bad boy bailed for Lions vs MIB S6 clash
August 07, 2008

Labasa soccer defender Samu Kautoga has been named as a sure starter for the Labasa soccer team in their Super Six campaign against Ba after he was bailed from the Nasinu magistrate court yesterday.

Kautoga who was in Police custody on Monday after being charged for damaging property has been released on bail for $200.

Besides being ordered to reconcile with the victim, Kautoga will reappear in court on September 3.

Expecting a tough encounter against Ba in their upcoming fixture, Vodafone Labasa soccer boss Abinesh Kumar said that Kautoga has a lot of experience and is always eager to step up for the challenge.

“It’s good news for us because Samu is one of our key players,” Kumar said.

“We’re expecting a good game against Ba and I’m hoping that it will not be a repeat of the BOG final. We’ll field in our best line-up and with Samu in; he’s definitely starting for us.”

The former Lautoka rep was earlier fined $12,000 by the Fiji Football Association after he broke camp during the national Under-23’s preparation for the Oceania Championship. Kumar said that Kautoga had a lot of potential but his actions can put his bright career on the line.

Labasa will play Ba on Friday at Govind Park and they will take on Nadi at Vodafone Prince Charles Park on Sunday.

Chor lein ke tumlog khelao. What a shame Labasa and the chimpanzee of Labasa Ko6sharma, ab tumar moh kaise. You guys don't even have decent players and why you talk so much. Go and learn and send these junglees to school to learn good habits, before they represent you. If it was overseas this player would have been history by now. Tut tut tut....

Ceekay, your Ba jungle rule doesn't apply here. He has been bailed out. He was not jailed. ever heard of innocent till proven guilty? I guess not! Coz the junglees of Ba don't know the legal system. Anyway, prepare stones to throw at labasa bus tomorrow night!!!!

Ko6sharma khisyain billi khamba noche...you chimpanzee of Labasa, what do you mean innocent until proven guilty..are you blind or have no shame he was fined $12,000 as former Ltka. also he was caught red handed breaking in. Come on don't be an idiot. you guys have nothing and you have no shame but to play convicts in your team. Shame on you and Labasa officials for allowing this.Don't teach me of legal systems cos I have enough law in me ...ok muna jao school pado and then come and talk to me.

to all BA supporters especially 1's posting comment here.my question to u all...Do you know where is samu originally from...he is from ur own district of black town.we brought him over to improve him as now he is slowly getting better...in his recent case he did not did anything wrong but saved one his friends but finally all blame came on him.he didnt stole anything he did not kill or raped anybody.

he is innocent..u barking dogs first find out what had happen and then pass comments..

Ceekay, junglee, didn't ur law tell you a person who serves his sentence is as good as you? Or were you studying jungle law in Ba? First you need to learn english. damaging property is not breaking in.
