Naba missing from camp
December 27, 2007

Digicel national sevens team captain Etonia Naba is the only player that is yet to arrive in camp to prepare for the second leg of the IRB series. The national team marched in camp yesterday afternoon minus their captain.

Coach Josateki Savou said that he was yet to hear from Naba as to why he did not arrive in camp on time and added that if there isn’t any genuine reason given by the Nadroga forward then he is likely to face disciplinary action.

“The management has decided to give him time till this afternoon to join camp and if he fails to do so then he will simply face disciplinary action”.

However Savou failed to elaborate on the type of disciplinary action that might be taken on Naba if fails to join camp later this afternoon.

The national squad broke camp last Saturday for Christmas and marched back yesterday to continue with their preparations for the Wellington and the San Diego tournaments.

The final team for the second leg will be named on January 19.
