By Sunil Sharma Ba's 4R Electric and GM United have progressed to the finals of the 2012 National Club Championship which will be played at Govind Park this weekend. Both clubs registered impressive results in their pool match during the Western Zone playoff at Prince Charles Park today to book their spot in the last eight. But 4R Electrical striker Osea Vakatalesau could be missing the final round of Kriz Signs sponsored competition after copping a red card against Malolo FC this morning. Vakatalesau was sent off for bringing down goalie Vereti Dickson dangerously in their 2-1 victory. 4R Electrical officials will now have to wait for the referees report which will determine the nature of his suspension. The star studded outfit also defeated Rifle Range of Lautoka by a similar margin. GM United on the otherhand also picked up two impressive wins in its matches.
The side defeated Nadi’s DCA Sports Club 4-0 before beating Press Soccer Club of Lautoka 2-0 in their second pool encounter.
