Ba impress on day two of Pacific Cup

Ba look set to qualify for the semi final of the Pacific Cup after recording a 4-0 win over New Zealand Labasa on day two of the Pacific Cup at Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland last night.

The strikers were impressive with Tuimasi Manuca netting a double while Osea Vakatalesau and Abu Zahid scoring a goal each.    

Ba leads pool one with four points from a win and a draw.

Nadi also made an impressive start beating Labasa 2-1 in its opening game of the tournament.

Labasa were trailing behind 2-0 before striker Maciu Dunadamu pulled one back in the second half for the Babasiga Lions.  

Lautoka were denied a win in their opening game after NZ Nadi held them to a draw while Waitakere won 2-1 over NZ Navua

Today’s fixtures are as follows

 5:45 pm Nadi Fiji vs AFSA Australia
7:00 pm Labasa Fiji vs Nasinu NZ
8:15 pm Nadi Fiji vs Waitakere
9:30 pm Ba Fiji vs Lautoka Fiji
