By Sunil Sharma Former national midfielder Petero Dauniseka has signed a contract with a Canadian club and will be out of action for Ba for the reminder of this season. The 29-year-old native from Verata, Tailevu flew out of the country yesterday to join his teammates in Calgary. Dauniseka will represent Beer League FC in the domestic competition. The crafty left footer was under the club's radar from last season after featuring for the Men In Black on their tour of Canada. However, a serious ankle injury delayed his move as he was out of action and missed the Champions League and Fiji FACT for Ba this season. The former Fiji Futsal vice captain returned from injury for Ba and featured in the team's goal-less draw against Nadroga last week. FijiLive | |||
