The result of much awaited National Football League between leaders Lautoka and second placed Ba which will be played this Saturday is likely to determine the winner of this season's winner.
A win to the Blues will see them retain the title back to back while a win to the Men In Black will open up competition as we head in the last few rounds.
Even a draw should do the Sugar City side favors as it will give them an extra point on the table.
Lautoka is currently enjoying a five point lead on the Fiji Sun/Weet-Bix National Football League points table with 47 points while Ba is not far away with 42 points.
In their clashes in the past two seasons, the two teams have bagged mixed results which make it very difficult to predict the winner of this weekend’s fixture.
Ba will be at full strength with the return of Roneel Kumar and Malakai Tiwa who missed the clash against Tavua last weekend while Lautoka is set to be boosted with the inclusion of its suspended players whose suspension was uplifted temporarily last week.
In other matches this week, Nadroga will host Fiji tomorrow evening while two other matches will be played on Saturday besides the Ba-Lautoka clash.
Labasa will host Nadi at Subrail Park at 1pm while Tavua will host Rewa at 3pm.
On Sunday, there will be a double header at the tfl National Stadium where Nasinu will play Nadroga at 2.30pm while Suva will take on the Fiji U20 at 4pm.
Meanwhile in the first leg of the Premier League final Savusavu will host Tailevu Naitasiri at Ganilau Park at 3pm on Saturday.
