Nimariau hatrick saves Suva
May 12, 2008
Ni Vanuatu import Joseph Nimariau was the hero of the Capital side this evening when he scored three spectacular goals to hand his Suva side a hard fought 3-2 win over the visiting US based university side BYU.
Suva drew first blood though Nimariau but BYU equalised though a Clay Christenson freekick with both teams going to the breather leveled 1-1.
Nimariau scored Sutva's second but the celebration was cut short when Zack De Francis drew scores level for the visitors after outclassing three defenders and putting the ball beyond goalie Filimone Bolatawa.
Nimariau had the final say in the game as he slotted in the winning goal following a neat pass from Sedrick Dutt.
