Defending Pacific Games gold medal champions Fiji, were held to a one all draw in their final pool play by a plucky New Caledonia side
But despite the draw, the Fijians finish Pool A as the top seed team and will now take on the runner up from Pool B which is Vanuatu.
2003 SPG silver medalists, New Caledonia will take on the Solomon Islands, who were the top seed team from Pool B
New Caledonia led Fiji in the early stages of the game with a goal in the 44th minute of play and went into break with the one goal advantage.
But the Pita Rabo captained Fiji side who were without inspirational skipper Peni Finau and a number of other key players managed to slot in an equalizer in the 57th minute of play through star midfielder Malakai Kenahewe.
