Fiji’s representatives to the Pacific Mini Games in Cook Islands will march through the capital, Suva tomorrow as part of celebrations to mark their win at the regional sports meeting.
The march will be followed by a reception and luncheon at the Lower Auditorium of the Suva Civic Centre.
Acting President of Fiji, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau has been invited as the chief guest while the Minister of Sports Filipe Bole will also be present to welcome the team.
The athletes have been asked by the Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (FASANOC) to march in their uniforms, complete with their medals from the mini games.
