Can I participate if I'm not single? |
 |
Fijilive Speed Dating events
are for single people who have paid to meet other single
people in the hope of sparking a new relationship. The appearence
of non single people at our events would be detrimental to what
we and our attendees are trying to achieve. |

What happens on
the night? |
|
This varies from event to event.
You can visit our events
page for specific information about each event. Generally, we
meet in the bar for an ice-breaking session where guests are
handed their score cards. Your host will run through how the
speed dating works before it actually begins.
After the dating session is over, the night goes on. The bar will remain open until late whilst our guests could mingle and get to know each other a little bit better. Before you leave, hand your score card to your host and in the next couple of days, your matches will be emailed to you. |

How long does the
event last? |
|
This usually depends upon how
many guests attend a particular event, but a rough guide for
the actual speed dating is about two and half hours, including
breaks. However, as the bar stays open until late, our guests
are welcome to stay on to get to know each other a little better. |
|
How many potential
dates will I meet? |
|
This depends on the size of the
event and how many people attend. We feel that 15-20 dates is
a good number, and this is what we aim to achieve for you. |
|
Can I attend more
than one event? |
|
Of course you can! We are constantly
striving to bring you more and more events throughout your area,
and you can come to as many as you like. |

How much does an event cost? |
|
Each event will cost $20 per person. |
|
What cards do you accept? |
|
For security reasons we will only accept cash payments. |

Can I pay on the
night? |
|
No,
We want to put you in the age groups you prefer and that is why you need to pay first in order to confirm your place. This is a first come first serve basis. |

Can I pay in advance? |
|
All users who wish to pay in advance can come to our office at Level 2, Provident Plaza 1, Suva, Fiji. |

Do I get a refund
if I can't make it? |
|
Sorry, there are no refunds. |

How do I know if
I have a match? |
|
After the event has finished you will have
to hand your score card to your host. If you and another person
have ticked each other on your respective score cards, you will
be emailed notification and each other's email address. |
|
Can I get anyone
else’s details? |
|
Unfortunately not. Whilst we understand that
this may be frustrating, we can only provide the contact details
of your matches. If someone you selected on your score card
didn't pick you, we have to respect their wishes. |
|
What information
is given to matches? |
|
We provide matches with the first
name and email address of their match. Fijilive Speed Dating
will NEVER provide any other contact details under any circumstances. |
|
Can I have more
than one match? |
|
If you tick several people on
your score card and they have also ticked you, we will provide
you with the first name and email address of all of your matches.
It is up to you to decide which one's to take further. |
|
I have few or no
matches. Why? |
|
Don't worry. Not everyone comes
away from a speed dating event with matches. Perhaps you just
didn't meet the right people this time. Take a look at our events
page and next time you might just get lucky. |

What should I wear? |
|
The most important thing is to wear something
that makes you feel comfortable for the duration of the event. |

What is the age
range for these events? |
|
This varies from event to event however you
must be over 18 years of age to participate in any Fijilive
Speed Dating event. Take a look at our events
page where you can find detailed information about each event,
including age range, etc. |

What sort of people
will be there? |
|
Our guests will be in the same age bracket
as you and with similar interests as yours based on your answers
to your profiling questions when signing
up. Fijilive Speed Dating aims to service
normal, interesting people who lack the time to meet new people
due to work or other commitments. |

Can I bring friends? |
|
Yes, of course. When signing
up, you must however indicate that you will
be attending the event with a friend to guarantee their own
place at our event. |
|
Do many people come
alone? |
|
A good proportion of our guests
attend Fijilive Speed Dating events on their own. The whole
idea behind the speed dating service is to meet new people,
so it doesn't really matter whether you come alone or with friends.
