PM congratulates Kiribati President

Fiji’s Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has congratulated Kiribati President Anote Tong on his recent re-election.

Bainimarama said President Tong’s win “rewards an untiring commitment to serving the Kiribati people in particular and the Pacific peoples in general”.

Tong was this week re-elected for a third term.

Commodore Bainimarama said Tong “may count on Fiji and on my personal support”.
