“I am not thinking of getting married right now because I don’t have a boyfriend,” bares Bollywood beauty and former Miss Universe Lara Dutta. Lara is visiting Fiji for the first time, to promote the Art of Living (AOL) mega basic course being held at the Tilak High School in Lautoka from April 1 to April 4.
She is one of the students of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of the International AOL.
In an exclusive interview with to Fijilive, the oomph queen opened her heart up to reveal her latest love interest – Fiji.
“Though we have been given only a short introduction about Fiji, I do love it and am working on getting my tickets changed so that I can stay longer in Fiji,” she said.
She also expressed interest in visiting Fiji again, if they are called.
On her now-soaring career, the chirpy beauty said she has two films on the cards.
“ A comedy with Govinda ‘Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai?’ and ‘Blue’, an action movie with Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt.”
“I’m also doing a big action film with Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt called ‘Blue’, its going to be shot underwater,” she quipped.
“Two movies for the moment and I will start with the adaptation of Devdas, it will happen towards the end of this year,” she added.
Born to Wing Commander L.K. Dutta (retired) and British mom Jennifer Puddi, Lara Dutta has two older sisters.
She won the Miss Universe 2000 in Cyprus, and was the clear favourite ahead of fierce competition from Venezuela, Spain, USA and Canada.
Her final interview score was the highest individual one in any category in the history of the Miss Universe contest, which saw a majority of the judges giving her the maximum of 9.99 mark.
