Fiji’s Amalgamated Telecom Holdings (ATH) has paid out a final dividend of $8.4 million or 2 cents per share to its shareholders for the 2010 financial year, bringing the total dividend for the year to $21.1 million.
An ATH statement said today that the two largest shareholders, the Fiji National Provident Fund and government will receive $4.9 million and $2.9 million respectively.
The final dividend was declared by shareholders at their annual general meeting last month.
The payment brings the total dividend paid out by ATH since 2000 to $274.9 million.
Out of that the FNPF has received $157 million and government $101.2 million.
