Dead man suffered from epilepsy: Police

Fiji police have revealed that the post mortem results of the man, whose body was discovered in Wailada, Lami yesterday, suggests he died a natural death.

Assistant police spokesman Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri told FijiLive, the deceased was an epileptic patient.

“We found this out from the post-mortem so obviously there is no case to investigate,” he said.

The body of the 61-year old deceased was discovered yesterday by two men who were passing by the mangroves in Wailada.
