Fiji police say they have concluded the investigation into the discovery of meth-amphetamines worth $5 million in Suva last week.
“No further investigations will be carried out in this case and now the case is before the courts,” said assistant police spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri.
Wong Kem Lam, 51, is charged with the importation of controlled chemical substance under the Illicit Drug Act. He appeared in court last week and was remanded in custody.
Two other men were questioned and released.
Sokomuri said no one else was expected to be questioned in connection with the case and the investigation had been wrapped up.
