Fiji’s Health ministry says two more typhoid cases from the Central Division were reported during the week bringing the total number of cases so far to 114.
Of that figure, the ministry has also confirmed recovery figures of at least 100 people that were affected.
Public Health teams were dispatched around the country three weeks ago when the outbreak began.
Health officials are still advising the public to be vigilant and ensure water is boiled before consumption, hands are properly washed with soap, food is covered from flies, toilets are kept clean and medical attention to be sought early.
