The son of Hollywood star Michael Douglas has been charged with dealing the drug methamphetamine, prosecutors said.
Cameron Douglas, 30, is accused in a complaint seen on Friday of making tens-of-thousands of dollars dealing the drug, often known as crystal meth.
Prosecutors presented evidence from undercover witnesses who say Douglas dealt large quantities and was also a user.
He allegedly shipped drugs to New York from California or brought the packages himself. Payments were then allegedly sent in cash via the FedEx courier service to Douglas at a hotel in California.
Douglas, who has followed his father and grandfather Kirk Douglas into acting, was arrested last month in New York at the luxurious Gansevoort Hotel.
