I see everyone is calling for the heads of the FRU. How about the players? These players who are prima donnas in Fiji, when pitted aginst Kenya looked unfit, and lethargic, and overweight, whereas the Kenyans looked like true athletes, without an ounce of extra fat. No wonder they outran the Fiji players time and again. A new order has been born in the world of 7s rugby. How about being true sportsmen and learning from our errors and going back better prepared next time?

Bad Karma! I feel the pain of what FRU has done to Fiji's great son Serevi. It is a curse from heaven. I don't think Fiji will win anything in the near future. As for me I grew up watching Serevi play and serve his country. The matter could have been resolved without insulting our golden boy.

Please, let's not cry over spill milk (and that was expensive milk). I know the loss was painful to rugby fans. Let's move on by flooding the papers on the dismissal of the FRU personnel.

The Police should not guard the FRU House. Instead they should think of Fiji's loss in the World Cup quarters. Do they feel the pain the nation is going through for the big thrashing from Kenya. They should just sack the whole of FRU.

It's not the end of the world you guys. Be positive. Fiji is the world's best 7 a side team. Tiger Woods does not win every tournament although he is the best.

Is this what we are down to ... nobody or no team has ever won it all? Are we that low that we will sacrifice our tradition and spirits to vent our anger at a loss ... in sports. Where is the mellow Fijian spirit of friendliness and grace in defeat that we so boasted? We will regroup and keep playing, we will win again. We did not stop when we won, we will definitely not stop while we are losing. What do we tell the 5, 10, 15 year olds that are inspired to wear the white jersey with the coconut tree on it ... we quit because we lost? Not good enough. Let the FRU do their job and in time they will understand the need for change. Please hold yourselves in a higher spirit and more worthy of being the humble Fijians the world knows and respects. Don't let the short sour feeling leave a life time of disgrace and stain on our tradition. We are Fiji! Remember?

The loss of Fiji to Kenya in the quarter final should trigger the FRU to review some key areas in their selection criteria strategies. The selectors are all 15 players and justify their stand towards the fitness of players. They might be fit for playing 15 but for 7 they need more endurance to cope with the fast growing seven encounters. Moreover the FRU should bring experienced 7s players from the past to draw up selection criteria rather than mixing up the criteria with 7s. I remember Taga saying there is no difference between 15s and 7s but the result of their prediction justifies that their is a major difference between the 15s and 7s fitness level, endurance, speed and most of all their commitment towards their country in the field.

Fiji is not the only team that lost. 23 other teams including the favourites NZ, SA Eng & Samoa also lost. But they took it and say that they learned. I am sure they are not behaving like we are ... blaming A, blaming B and blaming C ... No, the better team won. They also showed us how much more we have to improve to reach the trophy the next time. Winning is not impossible but not easy either. There is no quick fix. Let's plan for the next WC starting now. Get a coach just as good as the ones from Wales, NZ, Kenya, SA have. NB I am not saying that Turaga Tanivula is not up to par but let's make him into a Treu, Tietjens - the great 7 coaches. Serevi? Not yet . Fiji public should also learn to take defeat and enjoy wins. Let's prepare ourselves for both the occasions.

We can blame, blame & b ... and nothing will be achieved. It will be easier to just find out the winning recipe from Wales, Treu, Tietjens, Ryan and the lot. They have a big bank of 7s specialist, Fiji? There is your answer. We need to train more coaches too. By the way the other nations are improving at a faster rate than us. Let's pace up too.

I would disagree with Jay Lal that Fiji is the best 7s team. In the days when not many countries competed and when Fiji had Serevi Fiji won. Now Fiji has found it level in the top eight in the world. The results of the recent tournaments and constant losses confirm this.

All Fiji Rugby Unions (major and minor unions) should stand up and call for an emergency meeting to discuss Fiji Rugby.

We should expect that ... why bring in players who have been playing 15s to play 7s? Fitness level as we can see is at different, thus the outcome. Everybody should stop blaming anybody ... either the officials should be removed or we continue the downward journey. We treat our players as professionals and expect a better result otherwise forget it. We will see how we do at the 2011 W/Cup, because at the 2007 W/Cup all the structures and everything was put in place by Pivac b4 he resigned. Let's wait and see what Ili can do.

Only solution for 7s is our Serevi ... whoever hates or holds grudges against him in FRU remember you are not the one to judge it's God. I call upon the interim Prime Minister to step into FRU, but players are not to be blamed but the selectors. Get someone who knows 7s. We are Fijians ... forgive and forget ... let's do it for Fiji and the people.

We will just have to move on, and if that move involves sacking all FRU officials, someone has to take the fall. It ain't no small matter when it comes to the prestige of our country's sport. Overall, if the players would have shown some level of fitness in the defeat than no doubt they have done their best, but to show no sign of fitness or determination to win brings shame to Fiji Sevens.
