Fiji's interim Health minister Dr Jona Senilagakali says he is leaving the interim Government. Upon returning to the final meeting of Cabinet at mid-day today, Dr Jona said “I’m out”, when asked if he is one of the four ministers expected to be axed from the 17-member Cabinet by interim Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama. When asked about how he felt about leaving Cabinet, Dr Jona said “I did not apply for the job”. Dr Jona was appointed Fiji's Caretaker Prime Minister following the takeover of the democratically-elected Government by the military on December 5, last year. Meanwhile, other Cabinet ministers declined to comment on their future in Government, referring all questions to Commodore Bainimarama.
