After weeks of preparation the day has finally arrived for the ten contestants who are vying for the Miss India Fiji 2012 title.

FijiLive was caught up with the contestants and organisers at Tappoo’s City level 6 during their final rehearsals today before the main event this evening.

The Moghul set has not only been designed to portray the richness of Indian culture in Fiji but it has also comes with a long ramp for the contestants to vie for the crown tonight.

Another surprise that this event has in store for everyone is the 17- year- old guest judge for tonight, Michaela Swamy who has been especially brought in by the Miss India Fiji organisers.

Swamy is an Australian teenager who is born to an indo-Fijian father and an Australian mother. She was last year’s Miss Teen Supermodel together with Miss Teen Australia.

Meanwhile, former Miss India Fiji and current pageant organiser, Naziah Ali said that it’s a show worth waiting for.

The winner of Miss India Fiji will represent the country in the Miss India Worldwide pagent in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia next year.
