A new category which has been introduced to the 2012 Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards will focus on specific growth areas of the tourism industry, new innovations and environmental and cultural sustainability.
The announcement was made at the launch of the 15th annual Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards yesterday. Awards board of executives chairman Gerald Barrack said this year's awards would recognise the new innovations and the achievements of people in the tourism industry.
