Aishwariya, Abhishek Bachchan attends the Oscars

Former Miss World turned actress Aishwarya RaiAishwarya Rai Bachchan graced the red carpet at the 83rd annual Academy Awards today in Los Angeles, California.

The actress, who was formally invited to attend the ceremony by the Academy was at the prestigious event in the company of her husband, actor Abhishek Bachchan.

Also in attendance and representing Bollywood (Indian Cinema) were actress Mallika Sherawat, two-time-Oscar-winner and also a nominee this year A.R. Rahman who was accompanied by his wife.
