The Fiji Islands Trade and Investment Bureau’s revamped website will not only promote Fiji investment but also showcase Fiji products to potential importers and serve as a medium of information in Fiji says FTIB deputy chairman Jitoko Tikolevu.
“In recognition of the fact that the FTIB website is a key conduit to bridge the distance between Fiji and potential investors and international purchasers of goods and services in the promotion of investment and exports of Fiji globally, major improvements have been incorporated in the newly revamped website”, said Tikolevu at last night’s launching of the revamped site.
He said the main objective of such an exercise is to improve navigation and informational content for promoting exports and investment for Fiji.
“Technologies as such are a liberating force that allows growing audiences around the world, particularly potential investors to delve deeply into digital resource materials.”
According to FTIB chief executive Annie Rogers, the FTIB’s website facelift fits well with the government’s agenda for transparency and modern method of doing business in Fiji.
The new features of the revamped website include an online newsletter subscription option, an online exporters directory which allows exporters to update their own company information, information request forms, user feedback auto reply option, joint venture partnership opportunities and an investor log in for information requests.
