Emergency mortuaries in Suva, Lautoka

Emergency mortuaries have been set up at Suva’s Colonial War Memorial Hospital and the Lautoka Hospital, the Health Ministry has confirmed.
 
This is to cater for the demand as all hospital mortuaries are full.

Health spokesman Iliesa Tora said each of the emergency mortuaries cost $33,750.00.

“This has been funded by the Australian Government,” Tora said.
 
“Lautoka has 11 berths and CWM has 24.”
 
He confirmed that the other sub divisional hospital mortuaries are also full.
