Civil servants told to stay home

The Public Service Commission has instructed all civil servants to stay home tomorrow in view of the cyclone warning.

This follows concurrence of the Prime Minister and Minister responsible for Public Service.

The Commission said all civil servants are to remain at home with the exception of those involved in DISMAC operations.

Tropical Cyclone Tomas, which has now been upgraded to Category Three is now expected to hit Fiji’s north within the next 18 hours.
