Fiji police have taken into custody a Pastor who is alleged to have sexually assaulted six secondary school female students in the Northern division.
Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed to FijiLive the man was taken in for questioning at the Savusavu Police Station yesterday morning.
It is alleged he used to hold prayer meetings in his home which the girls attended between December 2009 and February, when the alleged offences took place.
“No charges have been laid yet as the police are still questioning the pastor but he might be charged soon,” Sokomuri said.
Police began investigating the matter last week before the arrest yesterday.
Three of the girls are in form six, two in form five and one in form four.
