Another house fire in Fiji has destroyed a three bedroom house, leaving a family of four homeless.
The National Fire Authority (NFA) received the emergency call shortly before midday today to attend to the fire at Bittu place in Caubati, outside Suva.
Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading to three nearby houses, located two metres from each other.
The cause of the fire is not known yet.
The NFA said the spate of home fires in Fiji since last year represented the destruction of years of savings and hard work and was very devastating for a small economy such as Fiji.
