Daylight savings to end earlier

Daylight savings in Fiji will now end at 3am on March 28 instead of April 25, as planned initially.

Although no reason has been given for this change, it’s been confirmed that the decision was given by Cabinet following a submission by Labour minister Filipe Bole.

Daylight saving was reintroduced in Fiji last year commencing from November 29 at 2am.
