A vibrant Police Force has to move with time and modern technology, says the Fiji Police.
Speaking to FijiLive on the new server for the Force, police spokeswoman Ema Dimila said the scope of security and intelligence in the world has shifted.
“This has prompted the Fiji Police the urge to match the global security watch by firstly applying the changes and analysis in the Force.
“This will help us serve and provide for the people of the Fiji,” she said.
“We have a secured system but we will need a server that will protect and service our Computer Information needs jointly,” Dimila said.
She confirmed that some officers are yet to undergo training since ‘Information
Technology changes all the time’.
