Tokyo's Haneda airport suffered delays Thursday after fog forced nearly 100 flights to be cancelled or re-routed, but the city's Narita international airport was not affected, officials said.
All Nippon Airways (ANA) said 62 domestic flights had been scrapped or rerouted as of 0200 GMT due to fog around Haneda.
"The disruption has affected some 15,100 passengers," said spokeswoman Mie Takeuchi, who added that more delays were expected later in the day.
Japan Airlines (JAL) cancelled or changed at least 37 flights to and from the airport which mainly serves domestic routes, Jiji news agency said.
