Toyota Tsusho (South Sea) Ltd, trading as Asco Motors in Fiji, has declared a dividend payout of over $982,254 and closed its share registry this week.
Company secretary Joseph Mow said this was equivalent to seven cents per share, a result of trading operations for the nine months ending December 31, 2009.
During this period, the company posted a income turnover of F$76 million, resulting in a net profit of F$1.2 million.
The company had earlier reported a difficult six months to September 30, 2009.
Its Samoa market suffered extensive damage from the tsunami that hit the island nation last year, while activities in Tonga and Fiji were slow.
The company last traded at $1.97 per share.
