Seoul's Incheon International Airport has been named the best airport in the world for the fifth year in a row - reports news.com.au
The five-star airport came out top again during the 2009 Airport Service Quality survey, conducted by the Airports International Council (ACI)
The annual ACI survey is based on passenger feedback from regular monthly questionnaires conducted at 118 airports in some 45 countries.
Asian airports dominated the 2009 survey, with Singapore’s Changi coming in second – followed by Hong Kong, Beijing and India's Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International.
"All (these airports) have learned to focus on key performance factors that their passengers appreciate," said ACI Director General Angela Gittins in a statement.
No Australian airport featured in the top five of any of the categories, which included: Best Airport Worldwide, Best Improvement Award by Region, Best Airport by Region and Best Airport by Size of Airport.
