Police in marijuana bust

Fiji Police yesterday raided a home in Nasinu and confiscated 56 packets of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

Police spokesperson Suliano Tevita said they acted on a tip and have taken in a 21-year-old man for questioning.

“We are now questioning the suspect and looking for others involved.”

Tevita said these types of raids will continue and called on the pubic to be more vigilant and report any suspicious activities to Police.
