Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly proposed to his on-off-on girlfriend, the stunning model Bar Refaeli.
The Daily Telegraph reports despite trying to keep the ring secret by placing her other hand over it, the 24-year-old Israeli model has been photographed wearing a shiny gold ring on her engagement finger.
And judging by the long, admiring glances into each other's eyes the Valentine's Day engagement, reported by German newspaper Bild, was for real as Refaeli dined with Leo and his mother at the Cinema for Peace Gala 2010 charity dinner at the Berlin International Film Festival.
The pair were pictured together at a basketball match last month, setting tongues wagging that they had rekindled their relationship. They broke up in June last year, reportedly because 35-year-old Leo was not ready to settle down and move in with her.
But now it appears the actor, three times nominated for an Oscar, is ready to bite the bullet.
Bild reported that the Hollywood star proposed to Bar in the Hotel de Rome on Valentine's Day. Later that day, the pair shared a romantic evening meal at the city's Grill Royal restaurant.
Then Leo's mother Irmelin, 65, joined her son and Bar at the Cinema for Peace Gala 2010 charity dinner.
Bild newspaper also quoted a source saying the actor's mother had been urging him to make an honest woman of Bar.
The insider told the publication: 'She previously urged him to marry Gisele Bündchen without success.
Now she said to him, "Don’t make the same mistake a second time!"'
