A man has been arrested after he terrorised passing Sydney motorists on a busy highway with a replica firearm, police say.
According to news.com, a female driver alerted police when she allegedly spotted the man swinging a firearm and pointing it at passing motorists on the Princes Highway, at the intersection of Campbell Street, St Peters, about 5pm (AEDT) yesterday.
Police later arrested a 23-year-old man they saw walking along King Street, near the intersection of Darley Street, Newtown.
They allege he was carrying a rifle that appeared to be a replica.
